Sony might dominate in sales but will stay in second place in terms of cash(they're third right now after being second in the PS2 era), MS will leave and quality old school Sony exclusives will come back just like the PS1 era where great exclusives were being made left and right by everyone, 3rd parties will become better understanding and won't release a gamed on two platforms just because they want to, with Nintendo and Sony only less multiplats will be made since both userbases are vastly different, publishers will sink more slowly and some might even succeed more than right now and shooters won't stay as popular even if the Sony fanbase stayed just as active as they are right now
