CEO of the company I work for once told us that being born in the US is the equivalent of winning the lotto and that we should all be very grateful rather than constantly complain about everything, becauause there are much worse places where could have been born.
Yes, us US guys bitch and moan about a lot of things.
He is right though IMO and I wouldn't trade it for anything. So I would still choose to be born here, in the greatest country in the world.
