Heavy Rain, Uncharted, Infamous, LittleBigPlanet, Journey, Flower, Resistance, Last of Us, Rain, Puppeteer, Guacamelee, Beyond, etc.

ALL new IP which started THIS GEN.  How is that running out of ideas exactly?

The point of my post, especially when considering the post it was responding to, flew right over your head.

my point is that while making new IP they had some other hired help making some HD collections which were simple upscales.  Those don't require near as much work as a full remake and of course they weren't even all Sony funded like MGS collection.  Nintendo, while I love them and their existing IP, don't really come up with near as much.  I'm looking forward to seeing how X turns out and hoping it can be the next big Nintendo franchise.
