Cant read link.. I'm english :)

But I understand what you have bolded, if Sony want to be competative they need to make it locally, but I can see why they dont want to, its extra cost/resources when you can ship it in. Brazil taxes are crazy, and it's unfortunate that they do it. Of course for people locally it must be horrible that you cannot buy stuff imported without paying large amounts of tax as thats depressing :(

I guessed you can because "Went last year and really enjoyed it"... sorry I did for the confusion.

They say the consumer have nothing to do with the fact that Sony Brasil can't deal with goverment... it is Sony Brasil fault... MS instead make a better deal with the goverment... so that reflect the difference between prices.

"It seems that Microsoft has done the homework study tax more efficiently [than Sony]."

Another issue is that just because now the PS4 is officially here the taxes for import almost double... if Sony didn't release the console here the tax for import will be way less (I'm talking about Consumer import).

No worries :) Went to the show as a customer/exhibitor on one of the stands, so it was pretty cool. Place needs to be bigger though, not a lot of room, but apparently its grown in size quite a lot from the previous years (not sure about this year though).

I hope Sony sort it out, but sometimes companies need to hold their hand a little to force change. I do feel sorry for you guys having to pay large taxes on items.
