It's never a done deal, and we can never underestimate how much $ MS are prepared to throw at a project. Just takes a few good key games and they can definitely improve sales….

But at the moment, there is nothing to suggest (and no evidence of that) that the early adopters will suddenly fall away leaving some massive casual market who will pick up the XboxOne instead. With the performance of the XboxOne being called into question and the question of cost ($100 being a big issue).. there is no reason to suggest that the PS4 will not outsell the Xbox for most of the year as the PS3 did, and with the price difference, no reason to suggest that MS have the ability to undercut Sony at the Xmas sales period and continue that advantage.

It is a long game and last time out, MS were found definitely wanting in the long game in terms of games, so not sure why this time it will be any different. Sony continued to make games, MS decided not to. Sony caught up with MS.

Though some would suggest that it's just rabid crazy sony fans wanting to buy the console, I think there is a lack of awareness of how MS royally screwed up.. and comes across as a company wanting to nickel and dime their customers for every single little thing.. and many gamers appear to have decided that's not what they want. Some will continue to stick their head in the sand and defend their console of choice, but ultimately sales will prove otherwise.

The only depressing thing is that any small victory will be seized upon like this generation. Oh well at least the consoles are out soon, and at least that will answer some questions.
