Anybody else think Bravely Default is FF 3's spiritual sequel?

Michael yet again countered what you said. The spin-offs doesn't have a connection to the numbered ones, while the numbered ones are connceted and started the series. Thus making it mainline.

countered? all I saw was him proving my point. let's make it clear again: UNLESS FINAL FANTASY I THROUGH XV ARE ALL CONNECTED, THEY DON'T CONSTITUTE A MAIN SERIES. you can pick one set of games that connect to each other and call it main series, the rest will have to be considered spin offs.
