I goofed off in class every single day and pissed off the teachers all the time because the classes were that easy and I had nothing to do but wait around. It is also that same reason that there are MANY people who don't try at all. Those who don't listen or anything and disrespect everyone (and it has also become part of our culture here). |
That sounds terrible... and I thought the UK education system was bad.
It's bizzare because a lot of the best science research is done in the US, yet your description makes it sound like a miracle that anyone gets educated to degree level.
