You have no idea how happy I am to finally hear Nintendo finally acknowledges the issue with Nintendo games holding gamers hands too much. Hearing this coming from Eiji Aonuma make me happy, he even got in a mini debate with his director to not put a hint in a certain area of the game because he felt it would of made it too easy. Hearing this make me look forward to the next Zelda Wii U and future Nintendo titles.

I'm not sure it sounds like Nintendo thinks that way, just Aonuma.  He said he had to fight for days just to take out that hint.

That was an interesting interview. I like how he emphasized that it's based on Link to the Past but is really its own thing.  The renting thing and the openness of the world really have my attention.  I hope this turns out to be a classic.

He mentioned Nintendo as a whole though.
