The Sony fans went around saying Ryse was doowngraded because they went from 1080p native to 900p native. Hence why the Gif is taking the mickey out of that scenario. The game looks ALOT better than E3 now. My mate who plays Crysis 3 alot on his beasty PC even said hes impressed with the latest trailer. The game looks amazing.
I wonder what other devs ou there think now? Some at E3 couldnt believe that the E3 showing was not on a PC. Crytek ad to prove it to Guirella Games that it indeed was on an Xbox One. It looks allot better noow, so wonder what they will think now? All of a sudden Microsoft are being proved right when they say its not all about raw power. "However, according to Nick Button-Brown, the general manager of games for Crytek, there's no reason to give up so easily as the team is continually optimizing the game leading up to launch day, and according to Nick, the game will look and run better on the Xbox One than it did at E3, telling us... Yes everything we showed at E3 and Gamescom was on kits. From my point of view the development is coming along well and with the optimizations we have put in, I am pretty confident the final game will look better than what we showed at E3. I even had to open the cupboard to prove it to some guys from Guerilla who didn’t believe me. At the demo stations our kits were on top of the cupboard directly connected to the screens, so no way we could have done anything else other than run on kits.”

You mixing up a lot of stuff into one post here.
First off the resolution of Ryse was indeed downgraded. Cervat Yerli specifically said that they downgraded the res to make tradeoffs else where. So other parts of the visuals were improved. This was to acheive and overall better look.
Also why do you say Sony fans? As if all Sony fans made the claim? It was probably the same handfull of Sony fans who shit in all your MS threads that had negative things to say about Ryse. Dont generalise. It only looks to cause more trouble. Rather call out the people who did this. Name and shame. It's allowed btw.
Certain games were indeed running on PC hardware at E3. Hell there are pics to prove it. However i dont see the problem with this. It would be stupid for a dev to develop a game for a titan gpu when you need to target ~HD7770 level of performance. The two are worlds apart. It would also be stupid for devs to show off games that were not possible on the console hardware.
