I played it on PC with a 360 controller, can't speak on the console version. It was a very good game. The gameplay can be a tad repetitive, but it still keeps you constantly on your toes and has a really cool, creepy atmosphere. You have to manage resources and look for secret routes, so that's cool. The story is excellent, especially with the narration and the collectible manuscript pages. It's linear so there isn't a ton a replayability, but there are collectibles if you're into that sort of thing.
