I like Kyle and the show. battle of the bands is amazing.

I do disagree a bit with this episode. People choose teams, its just human nature and we should accept it. Those who lose the most in the console wars are the ones who complain about console wars.. People will have a preference even if they own both consoles and that is completely fine. People have favorite sport teams and those are free.

I disagree.

Choosing teams is one thing, but being a fanboy is another. Would you brush off this football fan just because it's human nature? http://jacksonville.com/opinion/blog/401949/david-johnson/2011-02-19/college-football-fans-have-gone-too-far

Theres a difference between choosing a team and people being stupid. Being a fan or fanboy does not mean you have a blank check to be an idiot.   Just because a few fans take it too far does not mean we should get rid of football.  Same goes with console wars.

The console wars are not going anywhere.  The same as any competition where you can choose a team.  Whether it be Pepis or Coke, or professional sports team.  They are here to stay, so we should think about how better to live with it rather than try to eliminate it.

Competition can be and should be constructive and fun.  Watching teams or corporations compete is fun.  I like to watch basketball even when I don't have a team I like playing.  I enjoy it much more though when there is a team I can root for.  Console wars are similar, we shouldn't get mad at people picking a favorite.  We shouldn't get mad when they defend or publically champion thier preference.  Arguing with one another is part of the game, if you don't like arguing then stay out of it.   This all being said, there will be those who take it too far and should be punished when they do so.

We are pretty much in agreement then!

Only difference really is that I'd put more fans in that "too far" category.
