A great number of people seek money, male and female. Because men are traditionally the workers who bring home the money, it makes sense for women to seek rich men. The same way men seek rich jobs.
Anyways, I do see that the point of the video was that an interest in his personality should come before an interest in his money, but ... well, welcome to the way the world works. personalities take the backseat to money, looks, and other things for many, both males and females. :P
