Why do people think so highly of Wii Sports sales?

Well, better to look at the sales of Wii Sports II (Wii Sports Resort). That are more than 30 million, and that is indeed incredible. And don't tell me, people bought that for the motion-plus addon. Because nearly no other game uses that.

Now. It wasn't as it sold the most copies. And look at current sales of the Wii. And keep in mind, it is only in one of multiple Wii-bundles.

Still the majority of bundles were not with Wii Sports Resort. That bundle in kind of hard to find, actually. The most commom bundles are Mario Kart, NSMB and the original Wii Sports, but even this one is uncommon today
