The problem with that is that... I think most of the competitive e sports fighting fans are on the Playstation due to the better D-pad. (Not all pro's tend to get official/prosticks.)

I mean it could be... I'm just talking anectdotally, but the fighter obssessed people i knew were in love with the original Xbox, moved to PS3 and now pretty much are as big a "faboys" as you can get.  Taunting the hell out of the various Xbox One news.

True. If you want to play fighting games Playstation is still king being that it houses some of the best players but this game is going to definitely open some doors. Microsoft just gave hardcore fighting fanatics a great reason to switch but if this game ends up being more hype than its worth most wont budge, I am sure.
