In my opinion?  Yes, yes, and yes.

Good news - better games.

Bad news - you need to be connected - which isn't a big deal if you have a good connection.  But if you don't have one, it becomes a very big deal.

But I remember playing World of Warcraft on dial up.  Some  things can be more useful and less difficult than some people think. 

It also helps push their live service, but they are working hard to make sure the customer gets some value for that.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
