This is why Nintendo is right. Focusing on specs is fine as long as it's not going to harm the industry. The SNES was a good example of this. It was state of the art at the time and far superior to the Genesis spec wise but back then, that didn't mean you were going to cause studios to shut down and force 5 year dev cycle for AAA games. Innovation is gone because no one can afford to take a risk anymore. It's sad.
