I don't think there is a PSP2. There's going to be upgraded iterations that are all backwards compatible. The UMD drive is holding back any serious redesign. If Sony ditches the UMD then it could get interesting. Otherwise we're just going to see new versions of the PSP with added functionality but with the same basic design.
