Rumor: 360 price drop end of March. Possible Scenarios?

A price drop not countered would have little effect, a price drop of the Xbox360 matched by a PS3 price cut would probably end up helping the PS3 more than the Xbox360 ( because we would be back to original situation but the PS3 would be cheaper).

Price cuts always help the more expensive system more than the cheaper one ( provided they both cut by the same amount)...

Especially when the more expensive one already sells more than the cheapest one before the cut....

That and don't forget the fact that if the Xbox360 drops price you get the same value for cheaper.

If the PS3 drops price the PS3 can argue on the value as with Blue Ray victory they can contend it's once again close to being the cheapest Blue Ray player on the market ( Blue Ray winning intrinseqly raised the value you get with a PS3).
