@OT - Nice statistics and thought it would be a bit lower but what exactly is the problem with people having their own beliefs?

The problem is the beliefs are a product of ignorance, not a product of rational argument or evidence-based conclusions.

Sure if you say it only impacts that individual it isn't an issue. But let's say that individual is a politician, a senator/representative/president, etc then I'm sure you can see how this world view impacts their policies. Then you consider their offspring and people over whom they have much influence and you see a snowball effect.

It isn't their personal belief that offends me, it's the impact on others such a belief has. It makes it okay for this type of magical thinking that isn't based upon anything to occur. I pity those who refuse to embrace reality and simply choose a school of wishful thinking and willfull ignorance.

Dat anger at religious people l0l

So to summarize your response:

"I hate religion and I hate religious folks because they think differently from me"

Whoo boy, kk have a nice day.

Anyways I'll just leave this last bit for you before departing from this thread : Just because they think differently from you doesnt mean they are ignorant or foolish - it is their personal belief and not sure why you would get upset over other people's beliefs.  Also if you think Religion has a bigger sway over a person's political decisions than Racial Issues and Money/Economics - then I'm not sure what else to tell you lol.

I'm actually pointing out the exact same thing in another thread right now and using evidence from a previous thread (911 conspiracy) to prove my point.... dsgrue really is just and intolerant stubborn individual
