I think Sony has been trying to egg MS into cutting their price again, so they appear reactionary. It wouldn't surprise me if SCE had another price cut planned at this point, but are buying time with the Blu-ray victory.
If the 80 GB + Rumble + MGS4 is $500, they may plan to take down the 40 GB PS3 to $350 (No Rumble, No Game, No BC, No Movie).
