I guess they had to set the tone for the season and show what was going on with our survivors in the last month or so.  I liked the slow parts but I really liked when things finally started happening.  Lots of things to speculate about.  Should be a good season.

I thought that woman was going to be a cannibal.  Didn't expect that about her husband.  Nice twist.

I agree with your thoughts. Very good way to show what has happened and where everyone's at.

Not a lot of people I talked to liked Rick's run-in story, which made me sad because I found it powerful and a good way to reflect on Rick's worldview and question it.
