amongt nintendo fans and mainly nintendo fans only. it explains the very strong first month sales, then the drop of sales after it. the market its self wasnt really hyped for the console. thats my take on it

I agree, but i think that was mainly down to
Nintendo not marketing the console better plus there wasn't any must have games to appeal to people.
