Given the state of the mind of the film industry people over here, particularly this director's previous project -- the butchery of Strukatsky's Inhabited Island -- I'm surprised it is not a crap like Enemy at the Gates, which is 100% western audience oriented, it's worse. This one marketed differently, despite the name have little to do with the war, though action is here, but scale of the action is modest (love story in disguise?). Could not even touch Soviet classics in the genre.
