Since when have Nintendo games ever been front loaded?  75%+ of their sales are always beyond week 1.

Casuals dont exist.People looking for 5 minute throw away experiences arent casuals. (The so called "core" are scared that these people will invade the console space, bringing games that lack "depth" and what not but its an irrational fear. See these "people" never played games before. They''re people who barely play games, they download these things and play them for 5 minutes because there is litterally zero bar for entry. You can't count the people who play animal crossing for 500+ hours among them)

Those people who play only two or 3 games a year are"casuals" in your book apparently so... must be them brodude fathers who only play COD.

 

That said. Certain Nintendo frnachises dont ever seem to be affected by install base. Donkey Kong and Pokemon are two of those.

 

It is a WorldWide launch. I know Japan will do well. North America seems to be bringing it, Europe too(Including the shitty UK), and Pal.

Now if the rest of the world could bring it we'll be sitting pretty.
