Since when have Nintendo games ever been front loaded?  75%+ of their sales are always beyond week 1.

Since casuals started to leave.

3DS must be pretty casual then since over 75% of 3D Land/Mario Kart/NSMB2/Animal Crossing/Luigis Mansion sales have come after the first week and those games continue to sell thousands each week even months/years after release.

Fairly sure a number of those came out this year. Still way down from the previous installments.
