At first I was interested to see this amazing looking DS game, but after looking, not really impressed. The DS is more powerful than the PSX so I'd expect it to push graphics that are as good as this.
Draw distance and pop in is is much better than Driver 2, but it's cart format versus disc, so that's expected. I will point out the terrible vehicle models the same textures and color for literally every vehicle though. Makes Driver 2's vehicle models look amazing.
Here's a video of Driver 2 on PSX. Doesn't look better than the DS game, but not much worse. As I said above, the pop in is expected since it's on disc.
