When Pokemon Diamond & Pearl was released, the DS sold 276k on an installbase of 11,2mill the previous week. The DS didn't have big releases like Monster Hunter 4 to build on, unlike 3DS. So, i still believe people will continue to buy 3DS for MH4 that week and on top of that, people will buy Pokemon X&Y.
