3ds is kicking butt in Japan and with it being the preferred system for Japanese with two of the country's biggest franchises ( aside from final fantasy and dragon quest) I predict 500k to 600k and my guess maybe even the conservative Japan has a potential to set records for the 3DS this coming fall
