I do see your point.  Plus how could you foccus on both?  One would suffer.

I think more the point is skyping with people you are playing with.  There are times when it would be nice to have seen some of the people I was playing Warcraft with (well the ones I knew in real life anyway.)

Do you need Kinect for that? All you need is a microphone. You don't really want video chat when you're playing do you? I don't. A lot of features that articles associate with Kinect don't actually need Kinect, it's just that MS chooses to use Kinect as the way of using said feature on the Xb one.

In the same way do we need cameras on our smart phones?    Do we need messages, email and text on our smart phones? Do we need Amber Alerts (kidnapping notifications in the States) on our smart phones? Do we even need Smart phones? People live millions of years and built the pyramids without such 'gimmicks'

We don’t really need gaming machines.  But I think they make the adventure of life more fun.

But the nice thing is we can do all those things, and more – like performance capture for Project Spark with Kinect. Or Exer-gaming with Kinect Fitness, or music performance with Disney’s Fantasia it give developers more resources to make fun experiences.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
