New Leaf sold an exceptional 505,000 copies, with more than 20% of those sales on the eShop, and "sales of the game continue to be strong in July

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a close second, however, having moved 739,000 units in three fewer months on the market.

If we take the 20% digital sale rate and apply it to 739,000 then that would be about 147,800 digital sales since the end of August. I assume New Leaf has sold at least 250,000 digital copies in NA.
