Just gotten far enough into the game to reach the chase sequence from the demo.
Let me just say a few things about this game.
#1.) It is different from Heavy Rain. While Heavy Rain feels like a linear story line that has a beginning and you progress straightforward towards the end, Beyond does not from what I can tell so far. If I were to compare it to anything, it would be a Sci-Fi TV series. Each chapter has it's own set of events. Do not go in expecting it to be just like Heavy Rain and approach each chapter with an open mind and not with expectations of it being a direct continuation of the chapter you just finished.
#2.) It looks INCREDIBLE! Wow, this is definitely a beautiful game.
#3.) The voice acting is great, especially Ellen Page. Easily one of the better, if not best acting performances I have seen in a video game. The highly details graphics and animation helps in this aspect since it really helps to portray what the character is feeling.
#4.) What you do doesn't feel as though it makes much of a difference in the end. Yes, the scenes can play out differently, but they still seem to end the same way. When I did the chase scene in the demo I got caught in the woods. This time I did not and the scene leading up to the motorcycle chase was different.
#5.) I'm addicted. Yes, it doesn't feel like my actions make much difference and the game seems really easy so far, but oh my, this is like an addicting Sci-Fi TV series and I am actually having an enjoyable time playing it. It is far from a perfect title though as the way the chapters play out can definitely come off as confusing.

I only played as Aiden for majority of my gaming session. My 4-year old daughter controlled Jodie with the PS3 controller and I controlled Aiden with my iPhone.
Playing Aiden is so much better with a phone/tablet IMO. Now I just use both and swap between them.
Going to play a bit more in a little while, once I get my daughter to go to sleep.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)
