The 360 exclusives include shooters, story-driven epics and an RPG, the Wii games included a platformer and a Zelda game and the PS3 games....weren't on the list.

Oblivion is ranked above 93% for the 360, however there's no denying the PS3 version is better (720p vs 600p, far less loading interuptions, longer view distance, more content, etc), so it all means little.

I played the PGR games, but I have far much more fun with Motorstorm. For online shooter multi-player I prefer Warhawk, for great story and gameplay I prefer Uncharted, for a platformer I prefer Ratchet & Clank TOD, for online store games I prefer Super Stardust HD, for backwards compatible titles I prefer God of War 2, etc. It really comes down to personal taste.

This is true enough, but you have to understand that your taste is nothing like the mainstream. Given enough money for one console only, most gamers would pick SMG over R&C for platformers, Mass Effect and Bioshock over Uncharted for story, Halo 3 and GeoW over Warhawk for online shooting, and PGR4, Forza 2 (or hell Need for Speed Pro Street) over Motorstorm (that game was frustratingly boring).

Of course some of the games you mention may be better known by people as they are sequels to previously popular games, but PGR3/4/Need of Speed are boring to me in comparison to Motorstorm, Motorstorm feels like something new (or oldskool, as Stunt Car Racer is a little similar in terms of gameplay => hopping over each other, boost, etc).

Motorstorm boring?

(The game looks a lot better though on a HDTV screen with proper color settings)

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
