I played this game for about 3 hours tonight instead of doing my homework. I'm about to get 4 or 5 hours of sleep, and then try to write my paper in a 2 hour break at school. This game will be the end of me. The oldschool Mario Bros. arcade level is the coolest thing I've seen in my life. I just need to get to event #28 and unlock that secret super bonus spoiler stage, and then my life will be complete.

Complaining about the single player mode of a FIGHTING game? That's odd. What fighting game has ever had a good single player mode? At least this one mixes up the fighting with awesome videos, character changes, branching paths, platforming sections, and items to collect. I can't think of another fighting game with a single player mode half this good. 8 or so hours to beat it? DAMN. Sounds like the greatest single player fighter of all time to me.
I haven't played the Emissary yet, but I've played Vs. for hours and hours and it's heaven. 11 out of 2!
