I still don't get how TWD gets such amazing scores yet Cage's games are knocked for "not letting you play" or being "interactive movies"

Talk about a double standard. I love them both but TWD is LESS interactive and your choices matter less than in Heavy Rain. I heard Beyond changes the ending a little less than Heavy Rain but still has some serious game changing choices which is more than we can say for TWD where choices would usually just amount to changing a face with the scene acting out the same way. I loved them both but people need to choose whether they like this sort of game or not. If you like one how can you hate the other on that same principle of playability? If you didn't like the story then fine, but don't insult Beyond for not being interactive enough after giving TWD a 95 or something.

I really think the main thing Cage's game have going against them compared to TWD are the conrols and the story.  TWD was a point and click title but it's controls are pretty reasonable.  Just walk towards stuff and use the right stick to move your cursor.  Cage's games always seem to have trouble with just walking, Heavy Rain had those tank like controls while Beyond took those out but still definitely feels off for one reason or another.  Cage's stories don't seem to be as good as TWD either.  To me it's like HEavy Rain has the story of an action suspense movie where it's exciting but you don't get too deeply into the characters.  You don't have those moments of standing around and just talking with people to get to know them like you do in TWD.  Heavy Rain was something interesting and different with the ide3a of multiple protagonists that made game overs somewhat impossible, I'm not surprised that his second endeavor isn't being as well recieved.
