Take Kingdom hearts HD for example it had 162k pre orders and its first week sales were 177k.
Tales of Xillia had 166k pre orders and its first week sales were 98k
Pikmin 3 85k pre orders and its first week as 103k
Dragons crown 77k pre orders first week 97k
Project X Zone 45k pre orders first week 55k
The list goes on and on.
