Sony are building a new network infrastructure. Dave Perry in the Febuary reveal stated that Sony have greenlit the new network and it'll be the fastest most powerful yada yada!! Sony want to leverage the cloud for its SEN network and gaming/video/music divisions. I'm sure they recently signed a deal with RackSpace or someone. Don't see any point in streaming PS3 games through Gaikai. Does anybody really wanna play older games when the next gen games are out? Maybe the odd occasion once in a blue moon maybe?

BUT Kowneiki says MS always does everything better and SOny does not do da cloudZ.....

 

It is obvious SOny is investing into clioud tech as well. Only the blind try to say otherwise.
