Who cares really? If it works, it works. If it doesnt work the publisher will feel the backlash in sales. Given how CoD has been so popular and seems to not be using dedicated servers, i fail to see the point of this argument. Its gamers trying to think they are developers and picking something to hate on. Its incredibly boring.

This is a good point.  COD has some of the worst online lag and lag compensation that I have ever seen, yet sells boatloads every year.  More than the other games combined probably.

So yeah.

If its not an issue for people in general, then it isnt an issue.

And just so you know.... dedicated servers dont eliminate the lag. Its impossible to eliminate lag unless you play LAN on a local network. I also doubt CoD is that bad, otherwise it wouldnt be that popular. Also, you obviously havent played FFXIV to know what lag is.
