Titanfall gets the hype, because there is a well known developer-team making the game. This is one of those developers that really brought something to the table and the whole genre kept on using afterwards. They already proved that they can do these things, unlike GG. That is the reason why people are hyped.

That and basically every preview and everyone playing it already confirmed that is incredibly fun.

When you think about it, it is the complete opposite of Killzone. Titanfall does not look great technically. This game is 100% focused on gameplay.
