My biggest wishes for certain video game franchises

I'm just going to focus on #2 if that's OK, since it's become my lot in life to defend Other M :P

Sakamoto co-created Metroid and, in a very real way, he's one of the only people on the planet who really knows who Samus is. I think much of the criticism leveled at Other M from fans is rooted in our own conceptualization of Samus, based on our own imaginations. Since the premiere game in 1987, we've had to fill in a lot of the blanks ourselves, after all.

I, for one, think Sakamoto did an excellent job with Other M, just as his did an excellent job with Super Metroid, Fusion, and Zero Mission. I see no reason to remove him from future Metroid projects. For the record, I have no problem with Retro Studios. Personally, I think that all three Prime games are better than Other M. But Sakamoto isn't the toxic director that some have made him out to be. He's still capable of making a great Metroid game, if he chooses to.

Just my two cents.
