There's a conversation about Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time. I'll just say that the reason I personally didn't buy Majora's Mask at the time was because I'd moved on from the N64. Also, while I owned an N64 Ram Pak (or Jump Pak or whatever the hell it was called), many gamers didn't. Majora's Mask required it.
I still think Cyber is wrong but that's my take on why Majora's Mask didn't sell. From where I sat, most of the Zelda haters that cringed when they saw Wind Waker revealed (myself included) eventually came around by the time the game launched. Hell, I got a free copy of Ocarina of Time just for pre-ordering!
There's details being overlooked by both sides of the discussion. And with my two cents added, I'm off!
