WiiU Price Cut Incoming! How Will It Do? Succeed or ... Well Not? (Friday)

Looking back at a few months in the US I can see the following (last week per month):

June 7244 units sold

July 7623 units sold

Aug 8647 units sold

Sept 20946 units sold (pre price drop)

Post price drop there has been a 37% increase in sales within one week.

There is definetely an upward trend in sales which started around end of July to mid August. The only explanation is that ot coincides with the release of more games. In fact if punters would helf off waiting for the price decrease there would not be a jump from Aug to September.
