I do think they should decide it based on potential sales, since it could help the wiiu a lot. The video that was showed here earlier on pretty much sums it up, the majority of the Zelda fanbase prefers the realistic style. This is also visible in the sales, although Majora's Mask didn't sold that well if I'm correct, but ok. From a sales perspective and from my personal preference I hope they stay with the realistic style for future Zelda games.
