I admit she's a little....ok very headstrong. But that's who Korra is. She doesn't want to be in Republic City right now, she wants to go home and help her family. She knows that if she fails in getting help they'll most likely be wiped out. Yes, she goes off the rails at the drop of a hat, and I agree the breakup was good, but in the end I kind of understand her point of view.

I feel bad for Asami, her and Mako were basically stand-ins in the previous episodes, Mako got his spotlight in this episode but Asami had a few lines at best. Hopefully they give her some big scenes coming up.

As for Eska and Desna, Korra established before that they weren't exactly close. And as you heard Eska blames Korra for Bolin leaving her. Heck hath no fury like an Eska scorned. That and there was no guarantee that she was alive...or in this realm. What were they supposed to do, swim the entire ocean looking or her?

For me it was the little details that made this episode worth while. I know its preference but I felt it was amazing.

We're also doing a Patreon right now for the comic, and I'd appreciate any and all help in getting it funded. If 56 people pledged $3 per issue, we'll be funded
