Just saw the new episode. I actually don't think it was the best. Partly because it's just so hard for me to like Korra when she's being a complete bitch. I mean... I know that's basically her character right now, but it drives me nuts how oblivious she is her idiotic actions. Case in point; Mako breaking up with her. I hope they stay broken up. Mako was a very respectable character in this episode (even though he was a bit of a jerk to Bolin), and I am glad they had him stand up to Korra. Korra completely blew off his suspicions and refused to entertain the possibility that he was onto something. Instead, she focuses on how he's not helping her. Then, when he dumps her, she's completely caught off guard. I hope she learns from this, because holy cow that is frustrating to watch.

Bolin was good. Asami was okay (yeah, there's a war going on, but damnit I only care about my company- wait, I can use the war to profit? Fantastic!), but she feels like an afterthought still. It was good to see Lin again, and I almost want to see when Tenzin broke up with her, just to see her bust out some awesome earthbending. Iroh's voice being Zuko still bothers me. Eska and Desna... what the hell?! I get that you two are creepy freaks of nature, but she's your cousin, and the avatar whom you were supposed to bring back alive. You're just going to leave her like that? (I know, it's a horrible dark spirit, blah. Still, they're jerks).

Again, despite the very limited screentime, Tenzin stole the show with his interactions with Meelo and Poki. His line when he agreed that being the "alpha lemur" is lonely was particularly poignant.

So many little details hurt this episode for me. It also still feels rushed. The ending was fantastic though. I'm definitely looking forward to the next episode to see what happens.
