In PC gaming, it is always the worst time to buy, because there is always a new generation on the horizon that will make the current tech obsolete. For me, the trick is not to worry about it too much, buy a cheaper 1-2 year old card, and invest the savings towards another upgrade in 2 years time.

Yeah but it's the really worst time to buy lol. Consoles have been holding PC games back for YEARS and just now that is changing. This year and the next should have a greater bump in PC hardware than the average year.


I think it will take a couple of years for the console games to catch up with the tech. Certainly the first few titles on PS4 does not seem like anything a 2 year old PC rig can't handle.
