No Sony representative has came out to say exactly how powerful the PS4 is against the competition so I guess it can be both a positive or negative thing, depending how you want to look at things. One thing for sure though is that the gap is wider than it is with the PS3 and X360. I suppose as games start releasing, we will see it. And come on, a rough 40% more in power is something. I'd imagine Forza has a bigger budget so it would be natural for Turn 10 to optimize with available resources and time; so a comparison to Driveclub isn't entirely fair. However, inFamous Second Son looks ahead everything if you ask me. |
How do you know the size of the gap?
Have you play both versions of a game? Are you a developer? Have you heard a developer saying "50% more resoluiton or 50% more FPS"?
Sorry I have to point to you. But that is the mind share of people at internet foruns. They are so poisened against anything Microsoft says and does that a simple racional statement "Wait for the games" is treated as a offence.
It´s beyond my mind to understand why people belive so blindly in a graphical discrepancy. And even it there are it would be noticeable to any normal human.
