GTA V online patch 1.02 issues and possible solution

As soon as i tried to download the patch, the console freezed and not even a hard reset would turn it off. i had to pull the plug.

But some guy in a forum told me to start the game, wait for the menu where you have to press X to download. wait there for about one or two minutes and then try to download.

 

worked for me!

This happened to me when downloading 1.01. Ido t think it's new to 1.02

i read on a forum to set the media center to disabled, so I tried it and it worked
