I'm a 29 years old and married with a lot of reponsibilities too and i still enjoy playing some cinematic games from time to time even though my playing time have decreased significantly. I don't know what's the problem with me but i don't enjoy playing nintendo games like it used to be in my childhood, the only nintendo game that i find huge enjoyment playing is mario kart and probably is because the game involved in competing with each other and i like to compete. Maybe it's a matter a taste combine with the free time people can find to decide which game appeal more to each other.

There is no problem with that. There is a problem if the only thing you do is talk bad about Nintendo games, when they are really consistent delivering what video games is supposed to be.

I don't think anyone can really say what video games are supposed to be anymore. The market is huge now and different people want different things from their games. The person that plays Heavy Rain may hate playing traditional video games based purely around the "play" aspect as they want interactive fiction. The Fifa gamer may just be a football fan who only plays football games that recreate the sport as accurately as possible. The Mincraft gamer may simply want to create virtual objects.
Video games are whatever consumers want them to be.
