He basically admits most everything will be compute based, this is obvious. The cloud is just PR. No dev will use the cloud, and split the userbase. At most it will be used for basic secondary stuff for gaming. Teh cloud for gaming is many years off.

Biased opinion is biased.
I´m a software developer, I know how difficult cloud computing might be... but I would kill for the oportunitie to develop in a cloud envairoment.
How are you to say what developers would or would not do.

No multiplatform devs will use the cloud knowing half the user base won't access it. What happens when you play offline? Ai and graphics degrade? It is common sense/ No one will take the time to sue something a large portion of the user base won't have access to.
The cloud for gaming right now is many years away.

I expect that in less than 5 years all games to be always connected.
P.E.
Titanfall
The Division
The Crew
Destiny
COD + BF multplay
MMOs

5 years? HAHAHAHA... Not even close. Always connected <> cloud either. MMO's have been around since the 90's, not cloud processing ehelps theri graphics.
If da cloud was so poweerfull, why get an X1? Just use da cloud on 360..
Cloud processing for gaming is 10 + years off for any real benefits.
