Isn't there a big decline in console gaming in Japan. There seems to be a huge hill for MS to climb just to get their console accepted. Then you have the decline of console gaming and two strong native competitors who's name is synonymous with gaming.
The X1 really isn't a device that seems to fit the Japanese culture either so I really do not see it selling any better than the first 2 consoles. I will say that when I was in Japan, if you were a shooter fan (not FPS) then there were a lot of those titles that never made it to the overseas.
